Today’s “comic” comes to you by way of a professional brainstorming meeting gone horribly awry. What was game development talk quickly degraded to a mess of alliterations, which we now share with you. Many many thanks go out to Alex P for the brilliance of the horrors you behold.

And on a completely unrelated note, it’d be ballsy of us to give you a comic with no art and leave you at that, so Soto and I whipped up this for you. It’s wallpaper size, and we’ll have prints of it for sale soon, and maybe even a poster.

Next comic gets back to the story, but that’s not a concern for me right now. I’ll be at this GameStop tonight at midnight picking up my copy of ODST. Feel free to come chill with me. Most importantly, prepare to drop.

This day probably means a lot less to some of you, but I feel it imperative to celebrate. 9/9/9 marks the tenth anniversary of the American Dreamcast release. Admittedly, I couldn’t afford a Dreamcast until its breath had faded into the night, but I remember its life fondly.

Hopefully all of you will too, as Soto and I have decided to release next Monday’s comic half a week early. Those with keen eyes may have noticed that it’s been up since Monday, but that hardly counts, now does it?

Also, I’m stoked, a lot of you probably are too, for the new Sonic game. 2D Sonic game? Maybe. But I think you should take a look at that trailer a little closer, and maybe you’ll see what I see.
